Energy Transfer: An Essential Service

Under Ohio’s Stay at Home order issued March 22, 2020 by Gov. Mike DeWine, Energy Transfer is considered an essential service.

As a Critical Manufacturing company, we have a responsibility to support the systems that keep America running — and that means maintaining a steady flow of products. Our manufactured products support the US Department of Defense, as well as the nation’s energy and medical supply chains.

Our customers — and America — depend on us.

We are asking our suppliers to continue their steadfast flow of products that keep our operations running smoothly. And we are counting on our supply chain to help us keep up with demand in this time of crisis.

To fully explain our operations under Gov. DeWine’s order, I’ve written this letter to our partners and customers.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

Our Approach

To do this mission safely and effectively, we have taken the following steps thus far:[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

  • Protect our customers and employees with the best-known science guidelines to minimize the spread of the virus.

  • Work with our suppliers and partners to keep a consistent supply of raw materials coming into our manufacturing site with as little delay as possible.

  • Offer increased communication opportunities to any of our customers who wish, including regularly scheduled tele/video conferences.

  • Stabilize our Energy Transfer manufacturing teams with Operational practices to the “New Normal”.

  • Build up inventory of fast moving or critical product groups.

  • Increase Quality Assurance audits and inspections of our Operations to ensure quality standards are being upheld.

  • Move resources to pockets of current and future growth opportunities.

Our Commitment to You

Fortunately, we have a diverse supply chain. The majority of our materials is domestically sourced, right here in the US. We work with some of the country’s biggest mills and suppliers — as diverse and secure as we can be.

We understand that this is uncharted waters for all of us.  However, we believe that American Manufacturing is up to the challenge.  After all, we’re a community — and we’ll get through this crisis together, better than ever before.

Need anything? We’re here for you. To contact us during the COVID-19 Stay-At-Home Order please call us at 330-868-3060.

I would like to end this message with a verse that gives me courage in a time of trouble.  2 Timothy 1:7 says, “…for God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.”  I pray that you can find peace even in these dark days.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3303″ img_size=”Medium” alignment=”center”][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
